2025 marks the inaugural year for the Cadillac OPTIQ, a compact luxury SUV with an all-electric platform and advanced technology features. As Cadillac’s smallest EV offering, it features mind-blowing range and dependable efficiency. Let’s dive into the all-new 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ.

Meet the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ: Innovation Meets Elegance

All-Electric Performance

The OPTIQ is powered by two motors in an all-wheel drive setup. It delivers a combined output of 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Underpinning the OPTIQ’s performance is GM’s Ultium battery platform, which provides a low center of gravity and balanced weight distribution. The 85-kWh battery provides a segment-best range of 300 miles on a full charge, and can recoup up to 80 miles of range in just 10 minutes using a DC fast charger.

Like most EVs, the OPTIQ features regenerative braking with one-pedal driving enabled, allowing the vehicle to stop just by lifting your foot off the accelerator. This not only reduces wear on the brakes, it also converts the kinetic energy into charge that is stored in the battery. A selectable drive mode system allows drivers to choose between several tailored modes, including Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode.

Elevated Interior Craftsmanship

Luxury and opulence is woven into every detail of the OPTIQ’s cabin, with soft-touch surfaces, real aluminum accents, available leather upholstery, and available open-pore wood trim. The front seats are power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated, and have optional massaging functionality. Rear passengers are treated to segment-best second-row legroom of 39 inches. Cargo space is also generous, with 28 cu.ft. behind the seats and 56 cu.ft. with them folded.

Refined Exterior

The distinctive front fascia includes a grille with integrated lighting elements that activate in a welcome sequence upon approach. The vertical LED daytime running lights and narrow headlights also contribute to distinctive Cadillac styling that exudes refinement and poise. On the side, flush-mounted door handles contribute to improved aerodynamics, and the vehicle rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, with 21-inch options available.

Technology-Driven Utility

Integrated into the dashboard is a 33-inch panoramic display that includes the infotainment system and instrument panel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, and built-in Google all come standard. Other standard equipment includes a wireless charging pad, several USB-C ports, and dual-zone automatic climate control. An available AKG Studio 19-speaker premium audio system elevates sound quality to cinematic levels.

The OPTIQ comes equipped with Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system as an available option. Available on over 400,000 miles of highway across North America, it keeps driver’s refreshed and alert while taking over accelerating, braking, and lane centering.

The all-new OPTIQ marks Cadillac’s newest addition to its growing lineup of electric vehicles, offering strong range, advanced technology, and a spacious interior in a compact package.
