The OPTIQ is powered by two motors in an all-wheel drive setup. It delivers a combined output of 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Underpinning the OPTIQ’s performance is GM’s Ultium battery platform, which provides a low center of gravity and balanced weight distribution. The 85-kWh battery provides a segment-best range of 300 miles on a full charge, and can recoup up to 80 miles of range in just 10 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Like most EVs, the OPTIQ features regenerative braking with one-pedal driving enabled, allowing the vehicle to stop just by lifting your foot off the accelerator. This not only reduces wear on the brakes, it also converts the kinetic energy into charge that is stored in the battery. A selectable drive mode system allows drivers to choose between several tailored modes, including Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode.
Elevated Interior Craftsmanship
Luxury and opulence is woven into every detail of the OPTIQ’s cabin, with soft-touch surfaces, real aluminum accents, available leather upholstery, and available open-pore wood trim. The front seats are power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated, and have optional massaging functionality. Rear passengers are treated to segment-best second-row legroom of 39 inches.
